De acuerdo con el festival, originalmente estaba previsto que interpretara este papel el austriaco G\u00fcnther Groissb\u00f6ck. Sin embargo, el bar\u00edtono cancel\u00f3 su participaci\u00f3n en Bayreuth para este y el a\u00f1o que viene poco antes del inicio del festival de este a\u00f1o, que est\u00e1 en curso.<\/p>\n<p>Lundgren, quien actualmente tiene el papel principal en la \u00f3pera \u00abEl holad\u00e9s errante\u00bb en la Colina Verde, tambi\u00e9n asumir\u00e1 el papel de Wotan, el dios caminante, en \u00abSigfrido\u00bb.
